Whether you love it or hate it technology is increasingly becoming a larger influence in the world we live in. From the phone we carry around with us everywhere we go, to the way we consume media such as news, TV shows, movies, and music. It influences how we buy things, how we interact with each other. Technology can be a great tool to stay connected with family and friends, grow businesses, and just generally improve our day to day lives. That is of course… if we actually use it. The truth is most of us don’t and for many reasons. Some are just unsure about which device or service is right for them. Others become frustrated when trying to set up a new service or device, unsure about how to transfer their information or have simply forgot all of their social media passwords. This slows us down. Without actually using the technology we have at our disposal to its fullest it will ultimately result in slower advancement of new technology.
Now think about this. How much does your new smart phone cost? Chances are if you purchased your phone within the last 3 years there’s a really good chance you spent $500 plus on your new device. And what about that old Netflix account that you haven’t used in months, that could be costing you over $100 a year! My point is this. We spend a ton of money every year on technology but it feels like we don’t get much value out of it.
So how do we resolve this? The answer is simpler than you may think. You need to understand things like a cloud backup. You need to know the best way to manage all of our passwords. You should have all the information you need when purchasing a new device. Technology gives us the ability to make our daily lives easier, why not let it. I get it. So much to take in, so many things can go wrong, but trust me the effort IS worth the reward. Which is why I’ve designed WyaTech.
